Dads ’n’ Kids Playgroups
Dads and Kids Play Days, is a weekend playgroup for Dads who work long hours through the week, or who have weekend custody of their children. The groups are about physical and outdoor play with kids in a ‘Dad Friendly’ environment. We are piloting the project in Murwillumbah with scope to take the programme to other communities. The aim is to keep fathers and children connected and to help support peer to peer networking. We believe that these programmes help create a mentoring culture for fathers of all ages.
