DADS' TIP –SHEET

BABIES

Dads often feel that babies are very fragile, in fact they are surprisingly robust and adaptable, hungry for touch and hungry to learn. Find some time alone with your baby to really bond.

Hold your Baby close, talk to your baby, play with your baby’s fingers and toes, look into her/his eyes. The more attention you give your baby the more intellectually stimulated he/she will be. From birth to three years is when your baby’s brain grows the most.

Baby Safety, never shake a baby, visit your health professional (preferably with your partner) regularly and ask questions no matter how silly they sound.
